I asked this same question on this board when I repowered my 681vs. I could have gotten a sweet deal on a 90 Etec, but was talked out of it as the 681's max hp is 130/135 depending on the year and with a 90 it would be "significantly underpowered." Ultimately I went with a 115 Etec and I'm glad I did. I get a great hole shot and see low to mid 40s with a load. To be honest, there are days I wish I'd gone to the 130, but I never regret not buying that 90. Good luck to ya!
