I have an opportunity through a trade to get a new bow mount, only thing is it is a 24 volt model. I really didnt want to do that because of the added weight but with the trade i think I am getting a good deal. My question is can I also run a depthfinder off one of the batteries used for the trolling motor? Even if it is not ideal, can I still do it without causing damage to anything. My boat is not big enough for 3 batteries.
