I have the same unit and have mounted a few of them. Go about 7 inches or so to the right of your plug on the white where it steps up. You want it protected from all the prop wash. Mount the bracket so the bottom of your transducer is about an inch up from the bottom of the white. You don't want it hanging below the boat. Mark your holes and put the bracket up there to take a look before drilling. Remember how much the transducer sits below the bracket.
