Yes they will.. But only for waypoints..
I believe you can even hook it up to the older LCX models with a certain cable..

Basically there isnt much difference between this and a HDS 7, except that you cannot link the elite series

Aside from the menus, buttons, screen shape, screen size, card slot size all being different.. And the Elite coming with downscan...
