As most everyone says the remote is not really a great tool for musky fishing other than spot lock or using it to record a track you want to fish. I am in the Mike Hulbert camp of not keeping mine on all the time and only using the AP in the most egregious conditions. Now if you are pulling live bait rigs or cranks for walleye with your Terrova the remote is the best invention since sour mash whisky.... I go March thru May walleye fishing and rarely if ever use the pedal....
