Actually it was kind of a toss up between the Triton and the Skeeter. Being able to store 9'+ rods was important to me and if I'm not mistaken, only the Skeeter offers that.


The Recon 985 holds up to 9'4" rods in the bow as does the Recon 785. I've been looking at the MX1825 as well but the one comment on here about it being a wet ride is making me think twice because I mainly fish St. Clair & it gets rough out there.
