Man you got lucky, holy crap. That Terrova would be out of your site instantly had it hit the water.

I just mounted my terrova on my new to me boat yesterday. I opened the holes on the terrova's aluminum base to fit 3/8 bolts, before I opened them up 1/4" bolts would be the biggest that fit. Ya 3/8 is over kill, and I used all 6 holes but I dont want to be in the position you were in.
