Location: Hayward, WI		Yep the tension adjust should do it I'd guess. My older Merc 4 stroke has a lever to adjust tension on the fly. When adjusted so it drags just a little it stays put unless some major waves/wake rocks the boat. If it's really rough out just a little more tension will keep it in place.
