Hiya,

I went with one last year after having 3 of the corded footpedals go bad within a year's time. My original pedal lasted 4 years, then 2nd one all of 30 days, next one 6 months, and last one another 3.

Used the cordless all last year and loved it!! It takes a little getting used to, but on/off is easy, and you can adjust speed with the tap of your foot. It is a tad slower to respond, but I didn't find that to be any sort of issue.

The pedal stayed put in the boat without issue. I carry extra batteries for it just in case they go out on my while using it, and it is also very nice to not have the extra cord in the boat.

I feel it was a worthwhile investment for me.
