If I understand your question right, the reason the majority of bass fisherman prefer a cable drive motor is because of the instant response time, which is awesome if you fish a lot of shallow stump fields but not necessary if you are working down a deep weedline.  The response time on the terrova will be a little bit slower. It all comes down to the way in which you fish the majority of the time.  There are always compromises...[/QUOTE]

If I understand your question right, the reason the majority of bass fisherman prefer a cable drive motor is because of the instant response time, which is awesome if you fish a lot of shallow stump fields but not necessary if you are working down a deep weedline. The response time on the terrova will be a little bit slower. It all comes down to the way in which you fish the majority of the time. There are always compromises...
