$45/gal? You obviously didn't/don't buy from bulk dealers. Last I bought in April this year was $26/gal. For Opti oil. And that is a variable cost depending on how much you run your rig. I'd go through less than 3/4 gal per tank on average. That means I used nearly $200-250 fuel and about $20 oil. That's not a huge expense. Certainly not enough to sway my decision of which motor to buy.
