After having a 4 stroke and a DFI I have to say that my next one will be a 4 stroke. True they're probably not as fast, but the lack of $45/gal oil and the increased life in longevity for power-head (prospectively) seem like the way to go for me.

BTW, opti's do smoke, but not like the old ones. At idle with a tailwind you can smell the distinct burnt oil smell of opti oil. Not that it's much of a game changer, but it is there.
