I did my whole Stratos and i used Weldwood original and used several paint brushes to apply throughout the process. I got my carpet from Bass Cat boat co. and i asked them what to use. This stuff is gets tacky fairly quick and no need to use clamps on edges of lids. That is the best part because trying to clamp lids and edges is a pain. My wife and i did the whole boat and worked on it a little while each day. Work with average size areas so you have time to move your carpet in place. Lowes carries the large can and i have seen the smaller cans at Wally World.
