One tip on the side imaging is to keep the speed of your boat down, your chart speed up and SI range about the length of a normal cast. I run one side(weedline side) at 50ft out. That way the images are great of the weedline and pockets. Turning your boat fast will cause blurred images. Make nice easy turns and you will be amazed at how good you can see underwater structure. You will learn to read weeds and structure like your standing in the bottom.
