It kept seeping water cause the aluminum used is cast aluminum and is full of impurities. It does a lot of boiling when welding. If you grind the weld down you will more than likely open up multiple spots of porosity in the weld. Some cases will weld better than others. Some are just horrible and a complete nightmare to weld.
