Subject: electronics dilemma


Need some advice guys. I am experiencing problems with my bow locator. I have Garmin 240s on the bow and at the console. My bow unit at times will work fine,and other times it will only give me a simulator mode with the simulator turned off. Is this a bad unit or is it a wiring connection problem? GArmin sent me a new wiring package, but I am reluctant to go through all the B.S. involved with installing a new transducer and wiring if it's just a bad unit. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
