I recently bought and older Maxxum 80 pro with the original universal sonar and i was going to try to hook up my Humminbird 525 (has the 7-pin transducer cable) to the motor but the adapter cable to do this (MKR-US-8) is very hard to find. Then i found that Humminbird makes an adapter to hook up a two pin transducer to units that use a 7-pin and I can easily find the two pin adapter (MKR-US-4.) So my question is that if I use the MKR-US-4 and AD 629 will this work for my sonar or will I have lots of issues?
