i believe this is a carbed motor.

1. change lower unit fluid
2. put stabil, seafoam or startron in the gas and make sure you run it thru the motor. I use seafoam all year
3. some people fog, but i don't and never had an issue with an outboard, or snowmobile etc...
4. make sure the motor is stored in a down position to drain all the water out of the prop housing. also, so that water, snow ice don't collect in that area. If you are storing outside and need to raise the motor, make sure you wrap it in a garbage bag.
5. Charge all batteries fully.
