I would leave the lower unit down where the motor will drain when the motor is tilted it dosent completely drain. If you tilt your motor to load on a trailer you should lower and drain the motor before tilting back up.


What I wonder about is my water seperating filter that looks like the oil filter on my truck and no way of knowing if there is water in it that will freeze ( Mercury )
