I am headed up to Vilas County for a week long trip next week. Puttin the boat in the water Saturday morning. Forecast calls for several nights with the temps in the low 20's. When docking the boat overnight, is it best to keep the outboard in the down position so the lower unit is in the warmer water or put the outboard in the up position so all the water drains out but the entire outboard is exposed to the freezing temps?
