I had a '96 Faststrike 115 up until last month. That VRO pump was driving me nuts. Lots of problems. Ended up repowering. But if it's not giving you grief yet, why remove it? Maybe wait and see what happens. But if you do, I would be curious to hear how the VRO removal would go. If you end up doing it keep us posted on how it goes.
