Subject: Power Trim Quetsion




I have a 175 HP Yamaha and just took the trandsom saver off and lowered the motor. There is a signicant squealing noise when I lower the motor. Sounds fine when I raise it up, but the squeal seems to happen when I lower it. It is functioning fine otherwise. The motor was in the raised position for about 3 weeks as I parked it in the garage with the transom saver on. Hoping it will work itself out, but wondering if anyone has experienced this and has any advise?
