I'm converting from wedge style to the Pin style up front.
I have a few reasons for doing so, but my biggest is ease of availability. Should I need to replace something I can buy the pin pedestals, bases/seat bases virtually anywhere including walmart, Meijer, and other super stores.

If I were you guys, I'd just change out the base for another 3/4 pin base.
