TJ, does that hold true even if you need to go faster to achieve that rpm range? Maybe in keeping speed down to be a little stingier on gas i'm actually using more? (we go through enough as it is)
Running 3800-4400 is just a general consensus, it can vary for every rig/setup. Same goes for a vehicle, running at 55 mph will always get you better mileage than running 70.
Everything depends on your rig, if you have a boat that is setup with with 3/4 or less of the max hp rating, you'll need to run that throttle more where as with a boat that is maxed out with hp, it'll take less throttle to do the same thing as that boat that is under max hp. Make sense? |
