The 680 is a smaller water craft designed to compete with the Esox Magnum back in the day. It's a great boat for 4000 acre waters and less, can handle big stuff when piloted by an experienced boater, and recently, was 'reintroduced' in a new model, the 175.

The 690 was the first big water V-6 powered multi-specie Ranger. Originally, it was most popular as a walleye boat, but when Ranger dropped the 'side tank' interior, became a sought after muskie boat for bigger waters.
