Location: Elgin, IL		The existing 16 year old stereo in my 96 Lund has to go...yeah, I'm going to miss the cassette player, but wth. So I have the new Sony IPod capable unit ready to go with new Alpine speakers.

The Lund factory plug-in harness doesn't match the new head-unit. There are alot of wires in there, color coded and all, at least 12. Do they ALL need to be spliced and soldered? I'm not easily intimidated but then again, Wow.
I may have this professionally done. Any thoughts?
