Location: Des Moines IA		Go with the 1760, I own a 1700, and it handle three OK, and it would suffice for Big Water. But the 1760 is WAY more boat than just the 8 inches you see in specs in the brochure. With an opti 150, and a 9.9 kicker it'll almost do 50 in a single console version as well.
