Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The 1700 is a great boat in small and big water, I ran one the last two seasons with a 90 HP motor. That said, if you are going to go out on truly big water and have three in the boat often, I'd recommend the 1760. If low 40's is fast enough, a 115 would be great on the 1760. I've run a couple 1760s too, great ride and better in the big stuff; the extra 8" out in front makes a difference.
Also, the 1760 is available in a walk-through and dual console, and the 1700 single console only, if that's important to you. |
