Thanks for all the info guys. Im gonna go with the 2 ducer option. A high speed thru hull and y cable are under a $100. Anyone see any reason not to mount the si ducer on the lower step next to the livewell/baitwell intake? Anyone have theres nounted there on a 620? I saw some guys pics on the net mounted this way.

Al you mentioned a switch?? I was told by the dealeras well as other guys that the unit will automatically switch after it starts losing signal with the si ducer.
