You might do a search on here to see how Lambeau did his on a tuffy x-190 a few years ago. I have posted the pictures here. As said elsewhere, as far as I know, (I have been wrong before.) you can only use the side-imaging and down-imaging at low speed, so there isn't any need to subject that transducer to the dangers of being mounted below the transom. The conventional high speed transducer was mounted inside the boat, glued down.
