well i bet you this. take the 4 screws off the head and check the red + lead going down the shaft. its probly burned at the connector. it has a plastic sleave that covers the connector and its a cheap one they put in there. its for the tech's to change out the motor quickly mine did that and thats what it was . and if its tost let me know. i am looking for a 80 lb head and motor and shaft for mine. too cheap to buy a new one. i want a little more power than a 65
