For those of you that think there is a black line between the lakemaster and the navionics meaning one is way better you need to do more research. Neither one is "better", they are just more accurate on different lakes which is the reason I run one in one unit and one in the other. Also, there are thousands of lakemaster chips still available for your Lowrance units you just need to look in the correct place but I cannot say where that place is on here w/o getting scolded;)! Navionics has stepped up there game in a big way, now offering statewide chips with free one year upgrades and actually adding new lakes to their chip!! It's about time!
