Thanks for the response. The engine is an envinrude 2 stroke, carbed. Not sure on the year. I'll have to take a look at it. I have a pretty good relationship with our local shop so i'll get in touch with them regarding the mounting and checking the tachometer. Regarding the steering, for right now i have been using a bungee cord to give me some friction between wheel and counsel. I'll let you know my findings.
