Location: Maine Township, MN		Whichever chip you decide, you will need a chip for each unit. I have the same setup (Gen1 HDS-5 up front, Gen2 HDS-7 at the console) both networked through structure scan and I love it! Navionics here, but haven't fished Vermillion yet.
