Yes the MKR-US2-9 works.. It does have the power leads comming out of it. Now my problem is that i have a power drive 70 with a universal sonar... I guess minn kota's universal sonars "original" switch over in '06 and i have an 05'. My dealer provided me with the wrong information on the us2-9... So, anyone want to buy an 05' 70lb 24 volt minn kota with auto pilot and a 60'' shaft ? Its in great shape, but I need to be able to read bow depth. Not going to happen with the elite 5 and universal sonar.... Only the adapter was made for the US2
That's right, they updated the US. I too had the US the first year it came out and then upgraded the year US2 came out, that makes sense.
So much for it being Lowrance's fault, darn technology goes out of style the day it's released, similar to how fast Lowrance and Humminbird don't support units of the same age. |
