So true.

Marathons are great radial trailer tires. There are others out there also, but I have had really good experience with GoodYear Marathons.

Several important factors in successful trailering are:
Proper tire inflation, proper load rating, wheel balance, and axle alignment.
If any of these items are incorrect, it doesn't matter what tires you are running, you won't get good results. Over loading the boat puts quite a strain on the tires and axle. If you are getting bad wear on the tires, don't assume that the axle is aligned properly with the trailer frame from the factory. It happens.

So many folks like to blame the tires...when there are really other reasons for failure. Play it safe, and check them all... one at a time.
