Location: MN		Its not so much the bouncing that wears on the head, but the base of the motor. I had the metal bracket on which the motor pivots break because I didn't have the a support system for the motor shaft. Granted the motor was 8 years old, and we had been pounding 4 footers all day long. I would say the support arm would have far extended the life of the motor
