I've owned two 1760 DW's(full windshield models). If it weren't for the X190, I'd still be in a 1760. I ran 51.5 mph with a 150 Opti, you should see anywhere from 1-3 mph more with the Pro XS.

I used it fishing three guys on an occasional day trip here and there. In my opinion, three was no problem, especially if you were to have a single console. Is it a boat I'd want to spend everyday fishing three out of? Probably not. Main reason is, I'm not used to fishing three everyday I'm on the water.

If it were me, since your interested in a single console, I'd suggest the 1760 GT model, that would fish three very well and provide a little extra room without the top cap gunnel.

All in all, the 1760 is very hard to beat, it fishes much bigger than it actually is and wouldn't feel hesitant to take that boat on any big water out there.
