Location: Tennessee | Well if you can stand in a canoe you certainly can stand in the Alumacraft. It's one of the most stable and safer 10fters I've saw. Nice high sides compared to some. With two people it's certainly doable, just have to remember it's alittle boat. I've had it out on big water too, does just fine as long as you know how to hit the waves. I'm planning in getting a handle extender for it. If I set on the front seat, it will actually come up on plane and run pretty durn fast for a 4hp. I'm going to be fabbing up a new transom riser in the next couple weeks for it to, to sit the motor up abit higher for river fishing. I may break down next year and get a 5 or 6hp with built in tank for it. It should really scoot then. But overall I'd rate that little boat as one of the best fishing investments I've ever made. |
