I saw the Ranger at the Sportshow and it is sweet....as far as the hull at least. I think its like the Tuffy X series - a mid-height freeboard so good for most walleye applications, but GREAT for muskie, smallmouth, etc. However, I think Tuffy could come blow Ranger out of the water with an X-176 if they could do the following: 1) rear casting deck option, 2) bow storage (Ranger virtually has NONE) and 3) possibly a center rod locker. If Tuffy does at least 2 of these 3 things you can sign me up.
