I'm in the middle of this project right now. I've spent several hours pulling apart the boat: removing lids, hinges, carpet, trim, rivets, rivets, more rivets (from the trim and hinges on the lids), and scraping glue. Just waiting on the carpet I ordered to arrive at this point. It isn't complicated, but it is time consuming. My advice is to really take your time and invest the time and effort into doing a solid job with the carpet and glue removal. Be sure to invest in a couple of good scrapers and a real carpet knife with a case of blades (change the blade out frequently!). Good luck to you!
