I have a 2001 Lund with 75hp Merc. Boat has performed great until last year. Now the cranking battery has been dying after some various use out of nowhere! I've switched batteries, then a new battery. It did it again yesterday! The only thing I can put my thumb on is the New Lowrance HDS 8 I installed last spring. Since that time it has gone dead on me three time. Does this unit draw down the starting battery that much? Anyone else have this problem?
