I've alway felt that the closer to the water you where the better off you where. Less likely for the fish to see you when following, much easier to do figure-eights without a lots of body movement, and easier to let the fish go if you actually catch one.

We're not sight fishing for the most part. Very differt than tring to get a redfish or bonefish to bite.
