Repair of electronics is what i do for a living, most for the electronics fail the first three months or extreme temps and somewhere after 7 years things go funky. I always look for used but always try it before i buy. if it is only 1 or 2 years old and works it can be a good deal older than 5 years then not so good. last one i bought was $40 bucks electronics do not hold there value. 10 to 35 cents on the dollar is what i look for, but i am an old guy and the youngsters at work say us old guys are cheap.
