Polk audio car speakers are all rated for marine use if that helps. I always use crutchfield because you get the BEST customer service and free lifetime support. If you get their catalogs, they often have discounts not available to those who do not get the catalog. Sign up, it is free.

4 speakers should be plenty, and I would not think that you would need an amp. I design and install custom stereos if you want feel free to send me a PM. I know Decatur is quite the drive, but I will help you with the install if you want to bring it down.
