If you do put an amp in your boat, make sure to not wire it to your starting battery. Don't want to get stuck on the water with no power. I put some Polk Audio speakers in my boat and love them. Just make sure that whatever speakers you get are marine certified. It wouldn't hurt to get some speaker baffles either. I highly recommend Crutchfield for their great selection and prices, as well as their unmatched customer support
