I put in a Clarion waterproof head unit...now it's the CMD7 I think....4 Alpine marine 6.5" speakers and no amp is needed..it rocks the Ranger pretty good! Sirius equipped so the Hair Nation is rockin' .....the face of mine is exposed and i've had it 4 yrs i think in some torrential downpours and it hasn't missed a beat...mine runs off the starting battery and I've never had any issues with it draining the battery

get the head unit for about $200 and the speakers for about $70 a pair...you are looking at 500-600 installed most likely
