Location: MN		Well, Johnson Outdoors, the parent company of Humminbird and MinnKota, now owns Lakemaster and is canceling Lowrance compatible chips. With that in mind, the hope is that Bird will be come out with a way to sync your gps to your trolling motor in the near future. Not to mention, if you buy the 998SI, you will also get Down Imaging too.
