Good stuff guys, thx for the input. The 1890 GT and x-190 look awesome but I think I'll be challenged for garage space at that length. I probably need something 17 feet. The new 1760 tiller sounds really nice if I go the new boat route (does it have a rear casting deck with seat post)?

If I go used, the Tuffy's I see in the classifieds are usually Esox Magnums. Would they work reasonably well for primariloy smallmouth fishing? I think glass would track better than the aluminum boats I've looked at, but I'm wondering if the lower profile would handle occasional bigger waves and if the shallower keel would hold position in a river current with an iPilot?
