The tempest is a 3 blade prop designed for more speed and more bow lift.. Many times these are used on the bass boats designed for speed and can dial in a jack plate for optimum running height of the motor while underway. The trophy is designed for handling and overall lift which if memory serves me on the 690 series of boats, the extra lift for the bow is a good thing due to position of the gas tank. Many walleye boats have gone this route due to the conditions they sometimes run in (which is what we sometimes have to deal with as well getting from one spot to another).

Either way, both props I feel will be much better than the high 5 you have currently. Regardless, if you have the option to test both in different pitches and potential diameters, you will find one will stick out above the other.

Steve
